My Most Worn Abercrombie Denim Shorts

+ how they fit.

what’s your summer uniform?

It gets so hot in Austin that I usually reach for a pair of denim shorts and a tank or an easy dress. When it comes to denim, I have a favorite pricey pair that I’ve had for years and basically everything else is Abercrombie. I first started (re)wearing Abercrombie’s denim a few years ago and quickly realized that the fit and quality are as amazing as my pricey denim for a fraction of the cost. To be honest, you kinda can’t beat it.

More than ever right now, online shopping is key, but of course buying without trying presents its challenges, so here’s a rundown of my favorite Abercrombie denim and I had to throw in a few other summer pieces I just grabbed. I’ll breakdown the pairs, why I love them, and how they differ.

Favorite Fits.

Ultra-High Rise Mom Shorts – For me, these fit like a true 25 and are the tightest fit of the bunch.  The Ultra High Rise Mom Short is a good, classic denim short and run tighter than the Curve Love Mom Short and Curve Love Boyfriend shorts. I paired these on stories with the white button-up and also showed these in black with the grey henley tank. If between sizes I would size up in these.

Curve Love High Rise Mom Shorts – SO flattering, I just love the Curve Love fit, they are perfect if you have a booty. I don’t get a gap in the waist band and that is a HUGE win. These fit tighter than the Curve Love Ultra-High Rise Mom Short and the Curve Love Mid Rise Boyfriend Short. Wearing with the sweater tank and button-up.

Curve Love Mid Rise Boyfriend Shorts – These fit like a true boyfriend short and looser than the other High Rise Mom Shorts. Stick to your true size (or even size up for an even looser fit). I stuck with my 25 but also have a 26 when I want a super chill loose vibe.  These are a perfect mid-rise and hits right at my belly button (not super high but definitely not low rise at all). I paired this fit with the sweater tank and button-up.

Thank you Abercrombie for collaborating with me on this post. As always, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
