One of my favorite holidays is right around the corner! I feel like Valentine’s is one of those holidays that people love or hate and personally, I love it. Growing up, I have the best memories of spending Valentine’s with my family. My mom would make my brother and I Valentine’s bags that always consisted of the cutest (and most delicious) pink and red candies along with a few other love themed goodies. Then, after work, my dad would bring home a dozen red roses for my mom, a dozen pink for me and a box of chocolates for each of us.
I like to spent Valentine’s Day with those I love, whether it be – with my family (I’ve done this many times and it’s always so fun!), with my girlfriends for a little Galentines and of course now, with Alex!
Alex and I have spent the last few years keeping things low key for Valentine’s and cooking at home, which I love. We usually pick something fun and special and cook it together. Today, I’ve rounded up a few Valentine’s themed favorites in the spirit of love! No matter how you’re celebrating or who you’re celebrating with, Valentine’s day is all about L-O-V-E.
