TGIF babes! My family and I got home from a wonderful, and oh so relaxing beach vacation Tuesday (take me back please!). I soaked up some much needed r&r and of course plenty of sunshine and salty air. We usually go in July around the 4th, but I actually loved this years timing because it felt like the perfect way to send off summer. If you follow me on Instagram, you probably saw lots of snaps from the trip.
Late August is always an interesting time. It’s so still hot out (in Austin at least), but I begin to really start to crave fall. Especially after this weeks summer send off. Don’t get me wrong, I’ll still be enjoying as many pool days as I can fit in, but my mind is defiantly dreaming of sweaters and warm chai spice lattes. This sweater is perfect for the late August/September blues! It gives me the feel I want in an early fall look while keeping me cool. It’s super thin and very breathable so I don’t get hot and I adore the color. I paired it with my favorite cut-offs because, well…Austin. Enough said!
This fabulous fringe tote caught my eye while I was roaming Nordstrom a few days ago and I haven’t stopped carrying it since. It’s lightweight, fits a ton of stuff and of course – it’s fringe! Perfect for school or work and it’s a steal. I’m not gonna lie, I really want it in this color too.
