I’m a big believer in balance. It’s something I’m constantly working on (definitely haven’t perfected). Between family time, work, self-care and everything else on a typical to-do…it can be hard to fit it all in to a single day, but I try to make sure I’m always feeling grounded and balanced on a weekly basis.
I recently snuck away to the oh-so sunny Palm Beach on a girls trip and had the best time soaking up the sunshine and exploring with friends. I always have a hard time leaving Kins (even just for 3 nights), but come back feeling so refreshed and ready to tackle a new week!
We kept it pretty low key: hung by the pool, explored and ate out but I had so many of you ask for recap, so I’ve rounded everything up here into a Palm Beach Travel Guide.
Where we stayed?
We stayed at The Brazilian Court and loved it. It has a very boutique private feel (exactly what we wanted) and would also be so cute for a couples getaway. The whole property has a very home away from home feel with very quintessential palm beach decor. There’s a pool, restaurant, adorable lounge areas outside and so much history around every corner. I was also very pleasantly surprised by the size of the rooms. They were beautiful, cozy and spacious.
Where to eat.
Buccan – Hands down my favorite meal of the trip! It was also the #1 requested restaurant by YOU guys. Make sure you call and make a reservation well in advance because this place gets packed. We showed up early and got lucky to snag a table around 5:15, but the place was swarming with people by 5:45.
Must eat? The Barrata for an app, Hot dog panini and the desserts (we got some kind of rubarb/dough balls with cheesecake sauce and a warm cookie plate).
Cafe Boulud – This is the cute restaurant inside our hotel. I LOVE staying places with the connivence of a walk to spot.
Seafood bar – So many of you guys recommended this and I can see why. It’s a fun location (inside The Breakers Hotel) and was delicious! There was a ton of beautiful marble, the bar was a huge fishtanks and drinks were delish. Only downside? I thought it was really pricey for what it was.
What to do.
We mostly strolled around, hung by the pool and went for a shopping day at Worth Ave. They have a bunch of beautiful/high-end stores that were super fun to window shop.
