Can y’all believe Christmas has come and gone and it’s almost the New Year? While January is typically a slower month, ours is packed this year. We’re currently taking a family trip and I’m leaving on a work trip next week! With all our upcoming travels on the brain, I’ve been thinking of ways to minimize my beauty packing routine. As a mom, I already have to pack 500x more than life pre my little bestie, so anything I can do to lighten our loud is much needed and always appreciated (mostly by Alex, lol!).
A few weeks ago I started testing out the Chromafusion Collection by Mary Kay and I’ve been so impressed with the pigments, blendablitity and versatility of the eyeshadows, blushes, highlighters, and contour powders. Best part? The Pro Palette that houses the product is magnetized and each shade can pop out and be moved around.
I love that I can combine the shadows and blushes together into one palette for my travels! It’s super easy to design your own palette and lay out the shades how you want.
I’ve created a staple no makeup makeup look, light day glam look and a night out look using the Mary Kay Chromafusion Palette. These combos have been my go-to’s lately. See below for my favorite looks for every skin tone!
No Makeup Makeup
1- Apply to lid and under brow
2- Apply to crease
Fair – 1. Blossom 2. Sand Castle
Medium – 1. Biscotti 2. Hazelnut
Dark – 1. Hazelnut 2. Cinnabar
Day Time Glam
1. Apply to lid, under brow, and inner corner of eye.
2. Add shimmer shade to lid (use your finger to get the best application!)
3. Apply to crease
Fair – 1. Blossom 2. Sand Castle 3. Crystalline
Medium – 1. Biscotti 2. Hazelnut 3. Rose Gold
Dark – 1. Hazelnut 2. Cinnabar 3. Candlelight
Night Out
1. Apply to lid, under brow, and inner corner of eye
2. Add shimmer shade to lid (use your finger to get the best application!)
3. Apply to crease
4. Apply to outer corner of eye and bottom lash line.
Fair – 1. Blossom 2. Sand Castle 3. Crystlline 4. Soft Heather
Medium – 1. Biscotti 2. Hazelnut 3. Rose Gold 4. Mahogany
Dark – 1. Hazelnut 2. Cinnabar 3. Candlelight 4.Hot Fudge
