My go-to summer beauty look is bronzed, glowy skin with a bright or nude lip and a pop of color on the cheeks. It’s easy and effortless but still summery, fun and put together.
Give me some sunshine and the perfect pout and I am one happy girl! But, trying out a new lipstick is a lot like going on a first date – Will I like it? Will it last? Do we look good together? Well, it’s official guys – I’m in lipstick love!
I have fallen so in love with Clinque’s ‘Pop Lip Color & Primer‘ lipstick. I’ve been testing them out for a few weeks now and really can’t say enough good things about these lippies. The colors are stunning, the formula feels amazing on the lips and they’re super long wearing! It’s actually a lipstick and primer in one. It conditions, hydrates and makes your lipstick last for hours. I picked up ‘Poppy Pop‘ and ‘Nude Pop‘ and have been alternating between only them on a daily basis. In fact, they were the only two lipsticks I brought with me on my bestie trip a few weeks ago and honesty, didn’t feel like I needed anything else (which is saying a lot for me lol)! If you follow me on Snapchat or Instagram, then you’ve seen me wearing these little beauties non-stop the past few weeks. The glossy finish really gives your lips that juicy/plump look that is so flattering and perfect for summer!
Now, let’s move on to the cheeks – Clinique’s ‘Cheek Pop‘ blush has been a favorite of mine since it launched a few years ago. They give my cheeks the prettiest wash of summery color and can we talk about the daisy print?! I can’t handle it. I tend to gravitate towards peach blushes for spring and summer, so ‘Peach Pop‘ is my favorite, but i also have and love ‘Pink Pop’ and ‘Plum Pop’ and tend to reach for them on days when I’m going for a more pink toned look.

Nordstrom is a great destination for all things beauty (and of course fashion). Personally, it’s the customer service that keeps me coming back! So, anytime I have an opportunity to grab what I need at Nords, I will! Side note, I went to scope out the makeup bag that the GWP comes in and it’s super cute!
