As a blogger, I tend to buy and try a lot of things for you guys! Beauty products, clothes, skincare … so, at the end of the year it’s always fun to look back and see what I ended up using and loving the most. The crème de la crème that I continued to reach for and incorporate into my daily life. So here is a list of my favorite purchases for 2017 and things I’m still obsessed with.

My favorite shoes to work out in! Fun fact, when Alex played for the Cowboys, he used to have a contract with Nike, so we could get lots of fun Nike shoes. To this day, they are my favorite workout shoes. I love these particular ones because they are super comfy and move with you for things like burpees, squat jumps, etc.
After the vitamin C, I apply my favorite face oil. It adds extra hydration underneath my moisturizer, lays beautiful under makeup and gives my skin the most beautiful ‘glow from within’ look. It’s definitely a splurge, but worth every penny in my opinion! I just finished my first bottle and immediately repurchased, which says a lot.
Hands down the best basic tee! Great fit, quality, and price point. Not to mention that it comes in a ton of colors (I own like 6!).
It’s the little things in life, right?
This is hands down the best deodorant I’ve ever used. Honestly, even though it’s pricey, I don’t see myself using anything else! It’s that good.
Right after I had Kinsley, my postpartum hormones were going crazy, and the deodorant I had been using just wasn’t cutting it (which I hear is super common). I fell in love with this baby, and haven’t looked back. It smells amazing and really lasts.
Mom jeans for Mom life, can I get an amen?! These are the best mom jeans I’ve ever tried. I love the wash, the high-waisted fit…everything. I’ve been living in these lately (see my IG for tons of ways to style them) and can’t recommend them enough. Note, they don’t stretch, so just keep that in mind when picking out your size.
If you’ve never heard of a wet brush, it’s a total game changer! I use it when I get out of the shower to brush out the tangles in my wet hair and it’s amazing. It detangles and doesn’t damage hair.
I fell in love with slip-ons during the Nordstrom sale and have gotten so much wear out of them since! They’re amazing quality, super comfy, and have totally become a closet staple for me.
Ahhh, if you read my 2017 favorites post from last week or follow me on IG stories, then you have probably heard me rave over this product. It’s my new secret weapon when it comes to zapping any Fred or Ted (aka breakouts) that try to come hang. You put it on the spot before you go to bed and I swear, by morning there is a huge difference! Total must-have product.
This isn’t in my day and night routines per say, because I just use it when needed, but I did want to mention it.
These are THE BEST leggings ever! They are super high-waisted, aka really flattering, and suck you in at all the right places. I like these even better than the Lululemon ones, and they’re cheaper. I have multiple pairs because I wear them so much.

It’s no surprise that my most used bags of the year have been diaper bags! It’s actually crazy when I leave the house without Kinsley and don’t have her or my diaper bag, I feel totally naked! A crossbody purse? What do I even do with that anymore lol #momlife.
This one is my favorite for when I want something chic that looks more like a backpack and less like a diaper bag. This one (shop here) by Ju-ju-be is my other favorite for when I want more pockets etc.
I am full on obsessed with the vitamin C. I started using this after the lady who did my facial recommended it a few months ago and have noticed such a difference in my skin ever since. It’s totally brightened up my skin and helped it looks so fresh and even. This product is a total GAME CHANGER.
This is basically a glowy tinted moisturizer. Perfect for the gal on the go or busy days when you don’t have time for makeup but want to look a little more awake and give your skin that healthy glow.
These things are GOLD, pun intended. When I’m feeling extra tired or just need a little a little help, these always save the day. They cool, de-puff, tighten and wake up your under eye area! They have caffeine and are basically a little shot of expresso for your under eyes.
BYOB Pro Tip- Put them in the fridge for even more of a cooling effect.
Hands down, the most flattering skinny jeans I own! They’re super comfy and perfect length for me (I’m 5’3). If you’re taller, they would just be more cropped but still amazing I’m sure.
