Easy + Delicious Yogurt Parfait Recipe

Lately, I’ve been a bit bored with my typical breakfasts and looking for a healthy and quick alternative. For example, I love acai bowls, but on early mornings the thought of having to use (and then of course, clean) the blender, just doesn’t sound too appealing! Am I right? Eggs with some veggies and avocado used to be my main go-to, it’s a great  super healthy (healthier than a parfait if you’re watching sugar intake), but I over did it during Whole 30 and need a little break.

So today, I thought it would be fun to share the yogurt parfait that I’ve been loving. Perfect for those busy mornings!

This also a really pretty breakfast, if you want something cute to serve while having guests over the holidays!

All you’ll need…

  1. Yogurt: I have been going with vanilla and looking for the brand with the least amount of sugar.
  2. Fruit: I switch up the fruit based on what I’m in the mood for and what we have, but try to stick to berries that are high in antioxidants! Today, I did strawberries and blackberries.
  3. Walnuts: I like to add in nuts for some good fat.

All you do it pick a glass or bowl that makes you happy because…it’s the little things in life! Fill it with the desired amount of yogurt, then top it was fresh berries and walnuts. Super easy, satisfying and a good switch up. If you’re a Mom, this is also great for kiddos!

Tip: As the weather warms up, you can freeze the berries. Then, stir it all up and it makes a perfect afternoon treat.
